FordPass offers the ability to manage your vehicle right from your phone:

• Send convenient remote commands – Lock, unlock, and start your vehicle using complimentary remote vehicle controls (1) – when equipped with FordPass® Connect (2)
• Electric vehicle ownership support – Monitor charging progress and use Departure Times to pre-condition your battery and cabin (3)
• FordPass feature availability varies by vehicle and country. Images shown for illustrative purposes only


(1) Remote lock/unlock requires power door locks. Remote starting requires automatic transmission.
(2) FordPass Connect (optional on select vehicles), the FordPass App and complimentary Connected Service are required for remote features (see FordPass Terms for details). Connected service and features depend on compatible network availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent operation of connected features. Connected service excludes Wi-Fi hotspot.
(3) Effectiveness of cabin conditioning may be reduced by extreme outside temperatures.

I love the Fordpass App, use it all the time for remote starts and scheduled starts. I only wish it would add the ability to set AC as weather changes and I might not want it where I left it. Would love it if Ford could make that happen!

Some bad moments

Honestly the worst when it comes to towing service! 5 hrs in counting and no end in sight! The weather is good so that has nothing to do with it! What's the point if the place my car crapped out will end up towing it and I have to pay to get it taken care of now...absolutely horrible!

Fordpass is totally useless. The remote start doesn't work and the salesperson told us we didn't need a separate remote start because we had Ford pass. I live in a climate with a lot of snow and freezing rain and it will never work to start the truck. It takes me am extra 20 to get snow and ice off the truck when I should be able to start from the house and the majority of it will be off. I am no impressed at all

This app is ridiculous and useless! I work mids and it's 5 degrees out! Pressing the start button it only loads and doesn't start. I have to go outside and manually start it. My car payment surly gets paid on time, do your part and fix this! On another note, quit cutting corners and selling your vehicles without a spare tire. I mean....really?
Terrible! App continues to log me out and I have to re-enter my username and password every time along with creating a PIN. TOUCH ID doesn't work!!!
